Food Drive Shopping Trip
The sixth grade students had a math lesson while serving others. Thanks to Ranae Kehoe, who secured a Thrivent Action Grant, they were able to shop for $250 worth of food to kickstart the IGLLS food drive during Lutheran Schools Week to benefit Grand Avenue Community Outreach. They learned about saving money at the grocery store to make the dollars stretch, and they learned about what foods are packed with more nutrition than others.
