Tuition Assistance
We believe that a Christ-centered education is vitally important for Christian families. Iowa Great Lakes Lutheran School may offer tuition assistance, normally ranging up to 50% of tuition, to qualifying families that apply for such aid. Assistance is reviewed and granted annually -- that is, families must reapply each year and the level of aid given in any one year does not guarantee aid in subsequent years. A variety of factors may influence the level of financial aid provided to any particular family, including, but not limited to: the overall amount of aid available, the number of financial aid applicants, timeliness of application, etc.
The Financial Aid Application Form must be submitted, along with a copy of the prior years Federal Income Tax Return. The information must be submitted to the Office by June 1st of each year. The information submitted will be kept in strict confidence. A Financial Aid Committee appointed by the School Board will review, analyze and allocate financial aid, as appropriate. Notification of financial aid will be made on or about July 1st of each year.
The Iowa Lutheran School Tuition Organization has been established to assist families who want a Christian education for their children at a Lutheran Elementary School. Visit the Iowa Lutheran School Tuition Organization (STO) website at iowalutheransto.org to see if the STO can help you.
